A Creative and Diverse Community Growing Together
This is our last newsletter for the 2016 School Year.  Is it just me or has the year flown by?  It was great to see so many families at our Christmas Sing-Along despite the weather!  I always love to have so many children and families getting involved and having fun.

….and then there is the Principal.  At the time of writing this, the Principal position has not yet been finalised but you will be notified before the end of the year who will be the next Principal at Thornbury Primary School.

This will be my last newsletter as Acting Principal at Thornbury Primary School.  I would just like to say my heartfelt thanks to all of the parents/carers, staff and students for your welcome, your thoughts, advice and support.  I have enjoyed my time here immensely.  Thornbury has been through some challenges this year but the whole school has been very resilient in working around them.  This is a great school with an exciting future.

I wish all of you a great Christmas and a wonderful summer break.
2017 will be an exciting year…….

Hello from the OSHC room!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at OSHC. We have been busy putting up our tree, making decorations and tree hangings for the room, so all we are waiting for now is Santa’s arrival.

Curriculum day was a great success, the kids enjoyed a range of different games and activities in the multi, they put on their master chef hats and made some delicious brownies for an afternoon snack, sang songs to Christmas carols and decorated the room.

Just a reminder we are in the process of preparing the program for next year. If there are changes or cancellations to be made please notify us otherwise the regular permanent bookings will continue to be made.
PLEASE NOTE: It is necessary for your account to be finalised by the end of this year to allow for bookings in 2017.

We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

Andi and the OSHC team.
