E-Day is one of the most highly anticipated events in Edgemont, and it is right around the corner on Saturday, June 3rd. A tradition since 1956, E-Day is a family-oriented morning devoted to fun and community. Activities of all kinds, geared to children from kindergarten to 6th grade, are offered from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Edgemont High School. Relay races, sports, food trucks, and raffles are just a few examples of the many types of fun that E-Day has to offer. High school students volunteer to help with all of the activities, bringing children of all ages together for this extensive community event. Admission and all activities are free of charge. A complete list of E-Day activities is available here.
E-Day is sponsored by the E Club, Edgemont Jr./Sr.High School’s athletics booster club. The E Club supports our student athletes by providing necessary funds for equipment, uniforms, Homecoming, and more. They are one of the district’s valued contributors, and E-Day is an excellent way for all Edgemont families to show the E Club their support. Food and merchandise will be for sale at E-Day, with proceeds supporting the E Club’s efforts.
To learn more about the E-Club and its important contributions to our community, I encourage you to visit their website.
I hope you and your family will come out next Saturday to experience all the fun that E-Day has to offer. It is a community event you don’t want to miss!
