Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,

Two exciting and fun Edgemont events are coming up in the next week, and I am hoping to see you.

E-DAY  - Saturday, June 2nd, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, EHS (sponsored by the E Club)
Edgemont’s E-Day is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year!  A tradition since 1956, E-Day is a family-oriented morning devoted to fun and community.  Activities of all kinds, geared to children from kindergarten to 6th grade, are offered from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Edgemont High School. Races, games, sports, food trucks, and raffles are just a few examples of the many types of fun that E-Day has to offer.  A complete list of E-Day activities is available here.  High school students volunteer to help with all of the activities, bringing children of all ages together for this extensive community event.  Admission and all activities are free of charge. Food and merchandise will be for sale at E-Day, with proceeds supporting the E Club’s efforts.

The E Club supports our student athletes by providing necessary funds for equipment, uniforms, Homecoming, and more. They are one of the district’s valued contributors, and I hope you and your family will support them this Saturday by enjoying all that E-Day has to offer.

ESF Annual Fundraiser - Wednesday, June 6th, 7:00 - 9:30 PM, Scarsdale Golf Club (sponsored by the Edgemont School Foundation)

This year, the Edgemont School Foundation’s Annual Fundraiser will honor Mr. Devan Ganeshananthan  as he departs for a principalship at the American School of London and welcome Mr. Kyle Hosier as principal of Edgemont Jr/Sr High School.  Come join your neighbors and friends for a beautiful and delicious evening at Scarsdale Golf Club, complete with musical performances by Edgemont’s talented student musicians.  To purchase tickets (and there is a special rate for first-time attendees), use this link.

The Edgemont School Foundation is vital to our schools.   Founded in 1993, their mission is to ensure and enhance the value of an Edgemont education. Through its endowment, ESF awards monetary grants that support and enrich curriculum, students, and teachers. Since its inception, Edgemont School Foundation has granted over $2.2 million to our schools. Please show your support for the Edgemont School Foundation and the EHS principals by joining us next Wednesday night!

As always, I thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you.
