As you know, we are following Oregon state directives to stay home, and keep the shop closed to the public for now. In doing so, we hope to keep all of you healthy, safe, and ready to stitch again when the time is right.
We consider ourselves--and you--fortunate to have the skills to practice our crafts at home; knitting, crocheting, spinning, and weaving are so well-suited to keep your mind and hands active when going out isn't an option. We'd love for you to stay in touch through social media: Facebook
, and our Ravelry group
. What are you making right now? What works-in-progress are finally finished? What's next in your queue?
In the meantime, we are working on ways to put some extra fun into your busy hands! Thanks to a brilliant idea from Canada's Mont Tricot yarn shop, we are joining other local yarn shops around the world in offering Quaranskein Mystery Kits
: personalized yarn packs that we put together just for you, to spark inspiration and bring a little surprise to your doorstep or mailbox. We also have the opportunity to join our favorite Eugene print shop, Threadbare Print House
, to offer Cozy shirts! Threadbare is hosting a two-week virtual pop-up shop for us, after which they'll print and ship your swag directly to you. Follow our link on the website (they aren't Sold Out, but there is a redirect), or go straight to their shop
If there is another way we can help--by shipping one more skein of yarn or needed tool--please contact us and we'll find a way to ship or deliver it. We are so grateful for all your support, words of encouragement, and we hope to be there for you, too!
