Union County Farm Crawl
June 27th is the second annual Union County Farm Crawl!

This event was  a huge success in 2019 so we're excited to do it again. Last time 15 farms around Union County were open for an "open house" and driving tour around the valley.

This year we will be offering a tomato pruning mini-class during the farm crawl and maybe even an art class too.

If you want to be a participating farm, contact Janet Dodson ASAP at

Stay tuned for more info.
Nella Mae's Farmstand pantry
Since the beginning of COVID, we have had a free food, books, and games pantry in the farmstand. Sometimes houseplants even show up there! Please feel free to take what you need from the pantry shelves and leave non-perishable, healthy foods, books and games to share.

Potatoes, onions, garlic and other produce that doesn't have to be refrigerated is ok to leave too. If you have extra bread, you can put it in the freezer in the white fridge unit.

Pet food has been very popular! Folks need to feed their furry housemates too.
Tomato trellis and pruning class coming up.
Tomato Class
I will be offering a tomato class focused on trellising, pruning and tomato production in June. This class will be at the farm. Participants will take home trellis material.

Since I have farmers market on Saturdays, the class will probably have to be a Sunday. Please let me know if you are interested. Stay tuned for more info.

I will also offer a 30 minute tomato pruning class on Sunday, June 27th during the Union County Farm Crawl. Read on for more info.
Nella Mae's Farm Stays & Tours
In early June you will be able to reserve Nella Mae's tiny house for a farm stays in July and beyond. If you have a visitor who is looking for a unique experience and would enjoy rustic, COVID appropriate accommodations on the farm, let use know! You can learn more here.

We will also be offering farm tours, so if you have folks visiting and you'd like a single or multi-farm tour around the valley, let me know! We will be taking bookings for farm tours on airbnb or by email.

2021 Beef Update
I will not be raising beef this year, but I am helping a neighbor friend with his first herd. If you're interested in a quarter beef, let me know and I'll get you in touch with Jorge Hernandez.

I also recommend talking to Andrea Malmberg at Beyond Organic Beef/Buffalo Peak Land & Livestock in Union. She also has hair sheep for sale now and grassfed lamb in the fall. or 541-805-1124.

Jenny Bartell at Community Merchants also has a few quarters left. 541-663-0575.
