Nella Mae's Farm

Fresh, naturally-grown produce from our family farm in Cove, Oregon

Weekly Update

Hello friends,

Spring is coming on! I found my first bulb poking out this week. There are also a lot of birds returning, that cold spring north wind, and so much mud.

Just wanted to let you know that the first in a series of gardening classes is this Tuesday online. The class covers seeds and starting them. It is informal so bring your questions and ideas. Read on for how to register.

Last week I mentioned that you can order eggs and bread this winter from my neighbors. You can also order freshly roasted coffee from Blind Date Coffee. Toby & Meghan roast right here on the farm! Read on for more info.

I have a few small farm updates. We have insulated and wired the farmstand as part of our moving and improving project. I also spread compost throughout one hoop house on Friday, so I will start planting Monday!

First bulb at Nella Mae's Farm.
Fresh Roasted Coffee from Blind Date Coffee
1 lb is $14 and 1/2 lb is $7. This coffee is roasted right here on the farm by Toby Neuman. We drink a lot of Blind Date Coffee and love it. My husband maybe loves it too much. There is despair and panic when we get low and a lot of complaining when we have to drink something else. Contact Toby Neuman to order: 503-679-2522.
Gardening classes are coming up in February!
