Fresh, naturally-grown produce from our family farm in Cove, Oregon

Weekly Update

Hello friends,

I hope to see you this coming weekend at the farm for some socially distanced learning and weeding. I am offering a tomato class to help you increase your tomato production and decrease your disease and to make harvest easier.

I could also use some help with weeding on Sunday. All volunteers can attend the class for free.

Sunday, June 13 from 10-11am I will teach a tomato pruning & trellising class at the farm. You must pre-register here. The class will be followed by a weeding party from 11-12. Volunteers can attend the class for free. Read on for more info.

Sunday, June 27th save the date for the Union County Farm Crawl! There are 13 stops on the farm crawl this year. We will have a tour, gardening demos, coffee tasting by Blind Date Coffee and art classes by Amanda Welch.

Nella Mae's Farmstand pantry
Since the beginning of COVID, we have had a free food, books, and games pantry in the farmstand. Sometimes houseplants even show up there! Please feel free to take what you need from the pantry shelves and leave non-perishable, healthy foods, books and games to share.

Potatoes, onions, garlic and other produce that doesn't have to be refrigerated is ok to leave too. If you have extra bread, you can put it in the freezer in the white fridge unit.

Pet food has been very popular! Folks need to feed their furry housemates too.
