So long, Lolita
The photo below is our friends' pig, Lolita, who died last week of old age. She was our favorite, and we will miss her. She was one of a kind!

She used to graze weeds under our tiny house at night, and wake me up in a rage. I would chase her with a broom and she would squeal indignantly. She had the sweetest personality, the biggest ears, and the funniest jog. She was a great weed eater and impossible to ride. RIP sweet Lolita.
Your grateful farmer, Nella Mae
Winter continues...

Farmstand Update
We have moved the farmstand one driveway up the hill on Antles Lane to the farm entrance. There is more parking, better lighting and we really spruced up the inside! A big thanks to Amy & Jason at Ascension School, Dick Kenton at Plant Works, and Mike Riley at Riley Excavation for all the help with the improvements. Thanks to Meghan Moore and her son Jasper for help with painting too.

Food Pantry opening March 1st
Starting March 1st, we will be opening the farmstand so folks can access the self-serve food pantry we started last year. If you need food and/or have things to share, come by the farmstand.
Sign up for my "Natural Pest Control for the Home Gardner" class Feb 23rd.
Sign up for my "Understanding Soil for the Home Gardener" on March 16th.
