What we do
As part of Merging Mindz professional ideology we have developed programs from the principles of gathering knowledge and practice to build a place of hope and change that is accessible to people in building awareness and understanding of trauma and building recovery. We believe that bringing knowledge and experiences we all share into a space where we can gain insight and new skills is a pathway to hope and change!

Aims of Merging Mindz groups

  • Increased awareness of trauma and its impact on a person’s recovery (in areas of intimacy, trust, esteem, control and safety)
  • Learning techniques to strengthen self-regulation, insight, authenticity with self and increasing skills in self care (including Trauma Informed Yoga, mindfulness and Bush Adventure Therapy)
  • Increasing levels of wellbeing and hope for the future

What participants say
“I found the way the session built upon the previous ones and linked together fantastic – I have done a lot of counselling in the past but not gained as much insight into myself as I have in this program. I feel I have grown greatly in the ways I have been able to understand myself and how I relate to others, particularly in listening to my inner self and nurturing its needs”
