Selling Chametz
Meet the Mercaz Members: Arielle and Meir Zwanziger
Where are they from: Arielle is from Akron, Ohio. When she first met Meir, she wondered whether he had wanderlust given the number of places he had lived (7!). He was born in LA, but moved to Rochester when he was 5 year old. At 17, he and his family moved to Chicago, where he completed college.  Shortly after Meir and Arielle started dating, Meir moved from Washington Heights to Seattle for a job with Amazon. After many trips back and forth, they got engaged in Israel. Meir asked Arielle whether she wanted to move to Seattle or if he should move to Boston... Seattle was where their hearts were.  They loved the warmth of the north end Jewish community and how much it felt like a family.

Favorite board game: Their current favorite board game is cribbage, learned from Tova and Shimon Cox.

How are they coping with the current crisis: They are coping with COVID-19 by spoiling their dog Wiley and binge-watching Law and Order.

A favorite travel memory: One of their favorite vacation memories is their trip to Rome. Feeling dwarfed by the Colosseum and seeing Titus's Arch in person with a vision of the Menorah from the Beit HaMikdash etched in stone.
