We are hoping to offer a second Zachor reading before Mincha starting at 5 pm. If you are able and wanting to attend, please sign up on the separate sign-up below.
See Rav Linzer's piece about Zachor and Esther below. Everyone is encouraged to read the three verses of the special maftir (devarim 25: 17-19) and to look over Esther in preparation for Purim.
Fast timing - 5:25 start and 6:23 end
Purim night megillah reading on February 25th - Maariv at 6 pm and Megillah reading at 6:30 pm
Purim morning reading on February 26th - Shacharit at 7:30 am and Megillah around 8 am
Women's megillah reading on February 26th - 10 am
You must sign-up to attend and we have limited spaces. We are also Zooming both the night and morning reading. Please see Rav Linzer's teshuva below or call Rabbi Avi for questions related to fulfilling the mitzvot of Purim.

We will be collecting Matanot l'Evyonim and Machatzit HaShekel at Shul
With Purim just around the corner, Mercaz will be continuing our Mishloach Manot program that allows for people to give to others in the community and help raise funds for our tent, outdoor space, and other shul needs
Each individual or family who signs up will contribute to sending to all other participants and get one in return for a cost of $36. The deadline to register and participate is tonight at 10 pm, Thursday, February 18th. Baskets will be delivered to the home in a contact-free manner to ensure safety and food items will be individually wrapped.
The link below also includes a space for Matanot l'Evyonim that will be distributed on Purim. You will also be able to give Matanot 'Evyonim at shul.

Due to your generosity, we are about 3/4's of the way to our goal! The tent will be complete by the end of February and a team will assemble it then.
