To reduce the administrative effort for department key contacts, we’ve streamlined the process for setting up new users in uSOURCE. When a full-time staff or faculty member joins U of T, they are automatically added to uSOURCE and assigned the Shopper role. Shoppers can create shopping carts, which are then assigned to a Requisitioner or a Requisitioner/Approver.
To request the Requisitioner role for one of your users, send an email to your uSOURCE campus contact (St. George, UTM, UTSC) with their first and last name, UTORid, and list of Funds Centers they need access to. A User Setup form is no longer required.
To add the Requisitioner/Approver role, a Funds Center Approval Workflow form must be completed and signed by the appropriate budget owner (or delegate).
