A warm "Hello" to new subscribers... and "Welcome Back" to everyone else!

New Logo and "Connections" are Coming!

Exciting Times! I've been busy planning workshops for the Fall and that meant defining my brand and figuring out a logo.  So far, this is what I've come up with. Simple but hand drawn and that's what counts!

One of the big events this Fall is my Watercolor Lettering workshop at the Pinners Conference in Phoenix! The same principles of brush lettering apply when using watercolors and a paint that is why I've decided to release watercolor brush lettering practice sheets in the near future. Click HERE to learn more about Pinners!
In this workshop, you'll explore a few styles of watercolor alphabets and then create your own monogram watercolor letter for framing. Other Workshops in Canada: Edmonton Sept 9 & 10, Calgary Sept 23 & 24 (Creative Scrapbooker Carnival) and Winnipeg Nov 5 & 6 (Scrap Chicks). Click HERE to learn more about registering for these events.
I am offering a Watercolour Christmas Card workshop at the Creative Scrapbooker Carnivals in September and in Winnipeg at the ScrapChicks event. Click HERE to learn more!
TIP OF THE MONTH:  Want a maximum challenge? Try the word "minimum" and practice your spacing and consistency using either the large or small brush pens.
My Shop has worksheets for both large and small brush pens, including 'Bundles' to help you save on bigger purchases. Click HERE to take a look.
Maybe it's time in your brush lettering journey to evolve from single letters to writing entire words and sentences.  GOOD NEWS! I'm working on "Connections" worksheets and the FREEBIE this month is a sample for you to try.

Connections practice worksheet with "hi"

This month's freebie is a SNEAK PEEK of new upcoming worksheets for large brush pens called "Connections" This sample shows the break down and connection of strokes that form the word "hi."  I designed this sheet using a Sakura Koi Coloring Brush Pen that you see in the "minimum" photo above.

Download and Print today! Click HERE for your free "Connections" worksheet. I recommend printing and practising on smooth paper like HP Premium Laserjet 32 lbs (from Staples) or print on regular copy paper and use tracing paper on top.
