Tree planting project in Broad Oak Park

Sunday 5th December at 9.30 am

Help needed to complete the project

A big Thank You to all the volunteers who came along on Sunday 28th, braving the cold and muddy conditions, to plant 280 trees to form a hedge in Broad Oak Park.

Unfortunately the distribution problems that have afflicted the UK also apply to trees! We have therefore had fewer available to plant so far.

The upshot is we need to ask for help once again, to finish the job off at Broad Oak Park on Sunday 5th December from 9.30am.

We are hoping to finish planting a 160 metre hedgerow with over 800 plants. If you would like to join us please register via the button below.

Thank you all for your help.

The beach clean on Saturday 27th November was postponed due to poor weather conditions. This postponement was posted on Facebook and on the seafront but we hope no one turned up having not heard of the postponement. If so, please accept our apologies.
On Saturday December 11th the next beach clean will take place from De La Warr Parade, by the loos near Galley Hill, from 9.30.
