Winter Camp Partnership with Oso Bay Wetlands a Huge Success

Our winter photography camp at the Oso Bay Wetlands proved to be educational and FUN for the campers!  KRIS-TV was there and we were featured on the air!  Click below to see:

We have officially unveiled our new
Kritters 4 Kids Curriculum Website

Teachers in Alice at both St. Elizabeth’s School and St. Joseph’s School received access to the site and a class set of books. Susan Chilcoat, our Education Facilitator, was on hand to lead a class in the lesson as an example of these informative, interesting, and fun lessons. For more information on getting Kritters 4 Kids for your child’s classroom or school, go to https://kritters4kids.org/

Seeking Office Administrator

Our current office administrator, Brenda Weathered, will be leaving us to pursue other interests. We are looking to fill this upcoming 25-30 hour/week vacancy.  Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite needed for this position.  Applicants should also be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills. If interested, please contact our executive director, Crystal Mead: crystal@wildlifeinfocus.org Please include your resume with your inquiry.
Call for Volunteers!

We are in need of volunteers to help us with the monthly relocation of our traveling exhibit.  This typically is about a half-day effort, and includes tear down and re-assemble of display panels and for our winning photographs. Please contact our office if you are interested.

In addition, if desk-type work is more your style and if you are proficient with data entry,  we need you!  Accuracy more important than speed. Let us know if you have a few hours a week to spare.
