The Activities Team have been receiving a number of complaints from building managers at the college regarding our CSP room bookings. Common themes coming out of these complaints are specifically concerning room set up, space misuse and noise complaints.
Building managers responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of these rooms, are having to reset tables/chairs to their original set up each morning before teaching. Due to the work involved rearranging these rooms, they are threatening to remove these spaces from the bookable spaces list.
We need to correct this immediately so we can continue using these college spaces and developing our improved relationship with college staff. We are asking you to PLEASE ensure that you put these rooms back properly. We are going to start being stricter with issuing strikes to CSP's on these issues and removing the ability for your groups to book rooms to preserve the ability for other groups to continue using the spaces they need.
