FROM MR. ESCOBEDO
The season is quickly wrapping up with only one contest left on the horizon. This is a great opportunity for the students to perform in such a great venue. We will be taking the students out of class all day on Friday to perform and watch some great bands at the Alamodome. Once the buses are done with their afternoon routes, they will pick us up from the Alamodome and take us to game nine versus Roosevelt.
Next week the band will be parading around the community at the 12th annual LEE-Esta parade and finish off the route with a pep rally for our final game against MacArthur. While it is a sad day because it marks the end of our marching season, it is also a celebration for all of the band seniors that will be recognized for all of their hard work over the past four years. Please join us in recognizing all of their dedication to the Lee Band. Thanks and let’s have another great week.
