We liked the cocktail recipe included in last month's email newsletter so we decided to send you a new one this month. This isn't from any of the events but instead what Tim & I have been drinking at home recently. As usual we've also included this month's public events with ticket links below in case you would like to join us. We may do one more email this month with a few events where details are still being worked out. In the meantime, CHEERS! -- Hilary
Perfect Walnut Old Manhattan This is really a cross between an Old Fashioned & a Manhattan with a delicious walnut twist. This drink is almost like drinking a cross between a cocktail and a true digestif.
2 dashes Walnut Bitters Napa Valley Distillery is our current favorite here
.5 oz simple syrup
.5 oz Sweet Vermouth Carpano Antica Formula
2 oz Bourbon Four Roses Small Batch works well
In a rocks glass, combine in order above, stir in glass and serve.
