You might have noticed that our college website has new clothes. The newly designed website(s) took a bit over a year to complete. Please take a moment and browse through it to see how it's changed. David Brown and Mickel Henderson received our staff awards at the holiday party in December. Congratulations to both of them for jobs well done!

Kudos!

The Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) gives a shout out to Michal K. Moore, Ed.M., MM, grants and contracts officer II, in honor of Veteran's Day from last November (and kudos to all of CEHD's veterans!).

Moore served in the United States Air Force (USAF) from March 15, 1979, to December 31, 1992. They first served as a weather observer at Grand Forks Air Force Base (AFB) in North Dakota. Later, as a commissioned officer, Moore had assignments at Dover AFB, Delaware, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, Shaw AFB, South Carolina, Chièvres Air Base (AIN) in Belgium and Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

They describe Belgium as the most interesting assignment. Moore served as the operations officer for a Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers in Europe (SHAPE) international air show in 1990 that showcased The Thunderbirds, among other aerial demonstration teams.

They have also served as administrative commander, executive officer and director of training and development.
