Year 5 & 6 School Camp
Fundraising – Chocolate Bars
On Friday all year 5 & 6 children will receive 1 box of chocolate bars to sell as part of their fundraising venture for School Camp 21st to 24th March 2017.
Your child has also been given an official name badge to wear so that the purchasers knows this is an official sale’s representative from Arthur Street School. I suggest strongly that your child is supported by an adult should they be selling chocolates door to door.
The cost per chocolate bar is $2.00. There are 30 bars in each box, so $60.00 needs to be returned to the school once sold.Once your child has sold the chocolate bars, the money is to be returned to the school office. Unsold bars must also be returned to the school as they need to be accounted for.All profit money raised from the sales of the chocolate bars will go directly to subsies the cost of the parents who have agreed to attend the camp. Their support and help during the week is invaluable, without them the camp would not be able to go ahead.
If your child is willing to sell a 2nd box of chocolate bars, once they have sold all of box 1 and returned the money to school, they can collect a 2nd box and the profit from box 2’s sale will be put directly against your child’s camping fee, thus reducing the total cost of the camping fee owing.
If you do not agree to your child selling the bars of chocolate as part of the school camp fundraising venture, please contact the school via the following e-mail email@example.com before 12.00pm on Friday the 10th of February stating this.
All money and unsold chocolate bars must be returned to school by the 24th of February.
