Second Sunday at Sons: Holiday Edition

Sons of Hermann Hall
Sunday, December 11, 2016

The next First Sunday at Sons community hangout is actually the second Sunday, December 11th at the historic Sons of Hermann Hall, 3414 Elm Street. Time for the annual Holiday Party!! Grab some food, enjoy the photobooth and games, meet new friends, and hang out with old ones!

Bring your giving spirit for RAISE THE ARTS! All funds go directly to support arts programs at Uplift Luna Preparatory here in Deep Ellum and MLK Learning Center. Even $5 puts paintbrushes in the hands of children who might not otherwise touch them. These art teachers and students are genuinely empowered by your generosity. Thank you for doing this good work with us.
Dear Neighbor
2644 Elm Street
November 17 - December 15, 2016

In the spirit of connecting and bring the people of Dallas together during a time when it's needed more than ever, an interactive art installation will be launched in Deep Ellum with the singular goal of helping unite our community. We'll invite people to write a note to a neighbor that expresses their gratitude, hopes, dreams or something they love about their community and hang it in our gallery for others to see.

Participants will be encouraged to take photos of their note and share it with #MakeItCommunity.

The gallery will be open to the public from Thursday, November 17th through December 15th. It's free of charge thanks to funding provided by Community Coffee.
