'Birds, Cats, Skulls, Yeah!'
Kettle Art Gallery
2650 Main Street
Opening Night Thursday, March 30, 2017
7:00pm-10:00pm

Kettle Art proudly presents 'Birds, Cats, Skulls, Yeah!' a group exhibition featuring three unrelated but popular images that show up on the gallery walls on a regular basis. Here's a short breakdown on perhaps why...

Birds are long associated with freedom, spirits, messengers, prophecy and feminine energies. Cats in many cultures represent power, creativity in spiritual matters, and also resurrection hence the reputation for having nine lives. Skulls tend to be the more basic of the three and are known to represent life, death, and mortality.

All three of these aspects are pretty heavy and have been portrayed since the beginning of time. With this in mind, 'Birds, Cats, Skulls, Yeah!" will surely be an exhibit to visit at least once.
