Saturday June 2nd 1:00 pm at Terry Pettus Park- ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the installation of the Pettus boulder/plaque.

Hopefully a good turnout will inspire the city to begin the much needed upgrades to the park. John de Graff has an article about the park which is to come out sometime next week in Crosscut. Howard Droker, John de Graff, Bill Johnson will be speaking at the ceremony with stories about Terry.  This park has been neglected for years;  this sweet little corner park needs tender loving care now. If you have any questions please contact Dixie Pintler 425-967-3357- cell 205-459-1600. Hope to see you at the park!

Message from Karen Mooney, FHA Treasurer

Are you in need of a responsible house sitter next winter? My daughter will graduate from WSU this December and needs a place to stay for a few months (or even a few weeks, if that’s all we can find). I'm a floating home resident but my place only has one bedroom. Very responsible young woman! Cum laude graduate, works at UW Medical center, no parties. She’ll keep your home spic-n-span and we'll pay your utilities while she is in residence. If interested, please email karenmooney001@gmail.com
