There is still time to register for next month's Baltimore Mitigation Training Series, which will be held at the University of Baltimore from May 17 - 19.
Topics include trauma and brain injury, working with mentally ill clients, forensic linguistics, vicarious trauma, working with victims, Islamophobia and the legal system, investigating innocence, and many more. For a current agenda, click here.
Our Mitigation 101 primer to be held on Thursday, May 16 is currently full. During registration, you'll be asked to let us know if you are interested in being added to the waitlist for that day only. Due to the demand, we will be looking into ways to share content from the May 16 training with those who can't attend in person.
We've applied to continuing education programs for attorneys and social workers in several states and can provide documentation for employer-based programs, as well. If you wish for your participation to count toward continuing education credit, please provide us with the information at registration. Deadlines vary from state to state, so the sooner you let us know, the more likely we are to be able to submit in time.
We expect everyone who attends this training to leave better able to defend their clients, equipped with new resources and knowledge, and knowing that they have access to a broader community of support. Please join us.
