Chris Hatch will be preaching this Sunday for Mission Emphasis Day.

Since 2005, Chris and Josephine Hatch have served in London, ministering among the large and diverse immigrant community. They are currently working to plant a church in the ethnically diverse Shepherds Bush neighborhood. With both a large Muslim population and many secular people, the spiritual battles are intense.
In 2012, New City International Presbyterian Church began public worship with a small core group. Slowly God is growing New City into a multi-cultural church that is working with the Spirit to see the love and mercy of God expressed in word and deed. In addition to relational evangelism and discipleship, the Hatches and their team at New City are involved in ministry to the homeless, the elderly and youth.

Scripture Text for Sunday Morning

Genesis 12:1–4 (ESV)

Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.  And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”  So Abram went, as the LORD had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
