On March 17th, we took over 20 volunteers to the Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre to host workshops for newcomers to become familiarized with certain services in Canada. We focused on providing Syrian Refugees with information on topics such as mental health and career advice.
During the student election period on campus, we held a civic event to show students why they should be participating in all types of elections: campus elections, city elections and finally national elections, and  how not participating in elections can be detrimental for a system and ultimately a country.

Throughout the month of March, a series of four Indigenous Learning Circles were hosted around campus to raise awareness on indigenous teachings.
