Meet the Team - Kathleen Ramsden
This week we would like to introduce you to one of our Associate Support Workers - Kathleen Ramsden.
Kathleen said that being an Associate Support Worker for Inspire has given her the opportunity to show her skills and qualities to others. "Being together with others has helped me become a more confident person and has many rewards. It is truly enjoyable, inspiring and rewarding, seeing the enjoyment and smiles on all my clients' faces after giving just a small amount of my time, care, attention and support. It has also made me realise a little can go a long long way. I love my job so much."
Kathleen also told us how when she first met one of her clients, that at first he was quite shy and communicated what he wanted to say by writing everything down. However, in the space of a few weeks: "We now talk and laugh so much together. It is amazing how far we have come in such a short space of time. We go out together and walk his dog, come back and watch documentaries and laugh at funny cartoons. We have become such good friends".
