What's On

LaunchVic will invest $2.9 million in educating thousands of Victorian startups through our new founder education programs. 

Sixteen service providers have been selected to run programs that vary in length and format, and include short courses, intensive three-day workshops, week-long courses, mentoring and online learning. The courses are either free or low cost with up to 2,000 places available for Victorian startup founders & staff.

Incubate Socialpreneurship Hackathon

We are excited to sponsor the first ever African Australian Socialpreneurship Hackathon. 

Over one weekend, participants will be taught how to turn ideas and social challenges into financially sustainable models by a leading business strategist and several mentor facilitators. 

Incubate's Socialpreneurship Hackathon is happening from Saturday 21 April through to Sunday 22 April at KPMG, Tower Two Collins Square, 727 Collins Street, Docklands.


Startupbootcamp Energy Australia Demo Day

LaunchVic's funding recipient, Startupbootcamp Energy Australia will hold their Demo Day on 27 April at the MCG.

This year's demo day is in support of the 10 fantastic startups who have come to Melbourne from around the world to participate in Melbourne's first global accelerator program.

Come along to hear their final pitches, meet the teams and network with our extensive network of ecosystem experts and industry leaders.




Hear from LaunchVic funding recipient, Startmate, one of Australia's most successful accelerator programs.

Startmate coached 12 Victorian startups through their first Melbourne program in 2017 and have just launched the second year of their Victorian accelerator.

Entrepreneurial Programs for Aboriginal Victorians

Open Funding Round

LaunchVic’s latest funding round is focused on increasing diversity and inclusion by improving access and participation in the Victorian startup ecosystem for Aboriginal Victorians.

This program is part of Tharamba Bugheen - the Victorian Aboriginal Business Strategy 2017-2021 released by the Victorian Government in March 2017. Tharamba Bugheen recognises that economic advancement of Aboriginal Victorians is critical for self-determination and is making significant investments to support this agenda.
