What's On

Oh February, what a month!! Here at LaunchVic HQ we've been run off our feet with amazing startup events, international guests and workshops. We're very excited to share with you all of the great experiences we had last month and everything we're looking forward to this March!

LaunchVic has partnered with the Young Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Cisco to bring MELT to Melbourne

Hear from some of Israel's biggest leaders in technology as they join us via live stream at Cisco to deliver inspiring TED-style talks direct from Israel.

Talks will be followed by a pitch night where 3-4 shortlisted entrepreneurs will have the chance to pitch to our eminent judging panel.

The winning entrepreneur will be awarded with a place on a week-long trip to Israel with the AICC.

To celebrate International Women's Day, LaunchVic and City of Melbourne are inviting five industry leaders to share their BIG IDEAS on our subject “Melbourne's investor landscape could better serve diverse founders by ...”

This breakfast event aims to be interactive and encourage feedback from the community on how you think our investor community could better serve the Melbourne startup ecosystem.

Each speaker will have five minutes to share their idea, followed by a 10-minute panel discussion and 20-minute workshop.

Let's work together to enact real change on a day that celebrates so many of our achievements.

Resources

Did you know?
Only 2% of Victorian startups are located outside of Melbourne!
We want to help change that!

LaunchVic commissioned KPMG to develop a Startup Guide and Toolkit for local government to help local councils and community organisations to drive entrepreneurship and the growth of local startup ecosystems. The report is available here and has been developed through consultation with key local government stakeholders. The Guide aims to provide tools and resources to equip local government to strategically support and develop their local startup communities.
