Happy St. Patrick's Day! 🍀🍀🍀

The next two weeks are the final opportunity to make a submission to the diocese as part of the local phase of the Synod taking place around the world.

Submissions are open until 31 March 2022.

This update provides a reminder of the online sessions that anyone in the diocese can register for and resources to help you participate.

The Diocese of Palmerston North is currently offering Online Synod Sessions that are open to anyone within the diocese to register for and participate.

Registration spaces are limited and will close a few days before the scheduled session – so get in quick!

Updated Resources for 2022

We are pleased to offer a series of updated resources this year to encourage participation in this Synod from all over the Diocese of Palmerston North.

These updated resources include:

Synod Submission Handbook
This is the key resource which aims to provide everyone in the diocese with background information about the Synod, a discernment process to use and questions to respond to.

Synod Activity Booklet
This booklet has been adapted from resources provided to our schools at the start of Term 1. The activities may be able to be used to encourage engagement with younger people and their families.

Synod in Schools

We would love to receive as many submissions from our tamariki and rangatahi as possible. Resources have also been developed for schools to enable young people to participate in this Synod.
