Twin Lakes Farm Academy School Show
Saturday November 11th
Class List & Entry Form
Interested in a friendly and encouraging environment to gain valuable show experience? Fun prizes, ribbons, and learning opportunity with feedback directly from our USEF rated Judge. Than join us Saturday 11/11 for our first school show in our Academy School Show Series!
There is a class for every academy rider! We offer a lead line division for our beginner private students and then a division for every group class level within our academy! For our adults, we have a wide variety of flat and jumping levels so everyone can participate! Each division is comprised of three classes. All flat students will have three flat classes judged separately! All jumping students will compete in one flat round and two jumping rounds. Riders are judged on their equitation, or position in the saddle and correctness in riding their horse for our non-horsey friends and parents.
this year we are offering a few different division/classes to our day!
- Advanced Flat Class (Kids):
This class is open to riders Level 1-3, Advanced Flat Class riders, or ABJ with permission from Kirsten. This division will be three flat classes with focus on equitation on the flat. This class will take place prior to the Level 3 division and is a wonderful way for our jumping riders to get extra time in the ring, extra practice, and feedback from the judge on showing in their flat classes. This can help them better prepare not only for their later division, but for future competitions.
- Team Fun Class:
Open to all riders Level 1-3. Riders will form a scramble team and compete against each other in a fun class to be announced day of!
- Show Prep Class:
Open to all level riders, but geared towards our trot/canter/BJ riders to arrive to the show earlier and help get their horses and ponies ready for the show ring!
- Quiz Bowl Class:
Horsemanship questions for all levels of riders with fun ribbons, prizes, and free for all participants!
So whether you or your rider are still mastering your posting diagonals, working on your leads, or putting the finishing touches on their jumping rounds, this is a great opportunity for a fun experience in the saddle and of course continued learning!
