Entering the Facade Renovation Market

Area Quantification

Facade and roofing contractors are now looking into adopting new technology as 2D drawings of existing buildings are not always representing reality. We are now taking our renovation products to new levels, through a new partnership with the facade renovation expert BEVE AB.

Utilizing the latest Spotscale 4K video data method to capture the walls, quantification of facade surface and window frame analysis is rapidly performed.

Cathedral in 3D

For historic preservation and tourism purposes, cathedrals all over the world are asking themselves how they can prepare for an event similar to the Notre-Dame disaster.

Here's one recent example of a detailed cathedral 3D reconstruction, processed in our cloud.


Combining Indoor and Outdoor Scanning

Digital Twins

This past year, we have seen a significant increase in the demand for digital twins. Spotscale are currently processing and delivering several large school and hospital building areas for this use case. Spotscale's solution is optimized to create 3D models of the outdoor environment and by combining these with 3D models from indoor scanning specialists we provide powerful tools for maintaining buildings.

Hololens vs Magic Leap

At CVPR in Long Beach recently, we got the opportunity to compare the Magic Leap One and Microsoft's Hololens 2. We summarized the experience and the most important AR aspects in a LinkedIn article.
