Central Queensland’s premiere film arts destination event is back for year six with an exciting new date and art experiences.
Presented by Livingstone Shire Council, the Capricorn film festival will be held from Wednesday the 13th to Sunday the 17th of January 2021
The event will expand activities to include visual art, gaming, projection art and performance. The confirmed schedule and activities will be released at our Program launch in the coming months.
Festival partners also include Tourism Events Queensland, Screen Queensland, The Capricornia, Morrissey Management, and Keppel Coast Arts.

Although our vision has been restricted by COVID, we are lucky to be having a physical event and look forward to growing film arts in Central Queensland, Luke Graham, Capricorn Film Festival.
This year’s theme encourages the connection and exhibition of cinema art and its perception through visual mediums.
We anticipate the engagement of over thirty regional artists over multiple forms providing opportunity for exhibition and celebration of our artists and their works, Luke Graham Capricorn Film Festival.
Capricorn Film Festival will operate in compliance with a COVID Safe procedures as a physical event. Tickets will be pre-sold with reduced attendance with no exterior screenings and cashless payment system.
