The World Hepatitis Alliance, NOhep and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine are collecting stories about hepatitis and we need your help!

The real stories of how hepatitis affects individuals, families and communities are a powerful reminder to decision makers about the need for action on viral hepatitis. We are calling on individuals and organisations to submit their stories to help inspire change nationally and globally.

Awards will be presented to exceptional submissions from individuals, as well as organisations that help the largest number of submissions. Prizes for individuals include Kindles, Bluetooth headphones, and gift cards.

What to submit

Stories could take the form of text, audio, visual art, or infographics. All submissions will be reviewed by independent judges and exceptional submissions will be recognised at national and global events, in addition to receiving prizes.

Anyone can submit and we particularly encourage submissions from:

  • people with lived experience of hepatitis
  • advocates
  • civil society and community leaders
  • people in hepatitis organisations.

What happens after I submit my story?

Selected stories will catalyze policy changes and raise awareness about hepatitis with policymakers and the wider public.
Finalists from three countries will be invited to attend domestic workshops around World Hepatitis Day (28 July 2021).

Finalists will also be invited to a digital-international hackathon in late 2021 to drive forward hepatitis policy changes.

The deadline for submissions is March 7th 2021. Thanks for your support and for taking action for NOhep.

Best wishes,
