It’s time to Get Out the Vote! September 14 is the California Gubernatorial Recall Election.

Whether you are dropping off your ballot to an official ballot drop box or want to vote in-person, we encourage eligible voters to register to vote and vote on or by September 14. 30-minute rides are free on Election Day. No promo code is necessary. Just select 1-Ride online, in the app, or at any Metro Bike Share kiosk to redeem. A credit or debit card is required.

Save on Metro Bike Share with CalFresh and Your Golden State Advantage Card

CalFresh recipients can now enjoy discounted Metro Bike Share passes on the Metro Bike Share website. A Golden State Advantage card (EBT) and credit or debit card are required.

Reduced Fare Passes feature the same awesome benefits as the 30-Day and 365-Day Passes. This month, get a 30-Day Reduced Fare Pass for just $1 (regularly $5/month). Discount will automatically apply at checkout.

To enroll, visit our pricing page and select a pass. You will be asked to enter the 16 digit number on your Golden State Advantage card to verify your benefit status before you complete your purchase.

COVID-19 Safety Reminders

Our field staff continues to work and maintain a bike share system that is safe, clean and reliable for those who need it. Please continue to practice the following safe riding habits when using Metro Bike Share:

• 😷 Wear a mask when in public, when using Metro Bike Share stations and while riding in places where it is consistently difficult to maintain a safe distance from others.
• 🧼 Always wash or sanitize your hands before and after your bike rides, and avoid touching your face.
• 📏 Practice physical distancing between yourself and others while riding and when using a bike share station.
• 🚫 Avoid large gatherings and gatherings of mixed households.
• 📱 To facilitate social distancing and minimize surface contact at stations, use the Metro Bike Share app to purchase passes and unlock Metro Bikes with your smartphone.
