The Blended Course Design Workbook

November Update

Hello there!

Thank you for your interest in The Blended Course Design Workbook: A Practical Guide and for signing up to receive regular updates about the book!

The book is officially released this month, so I'm busy with promoting it!

Here's some of the latest news about the book:
Audio Extras & Book Trailer
All the special audio extras for The Blended Course Design Workbook: A Practical Guide are on the book's website with full transcripts, so they are fully accessible for use in the classroom or for faculty development activities.

I've scheduled recordings with some of the book's co-authors and will be releasing new audio content soon! All audio extras are also available on iTunes and on Soundcloud.

The Blended Course Design Workbook also has a book trailer that you can view on the book's website.
October Webinars for Faculty Developers
In October, I was busy hosting six free webinars for faculty developers who might be interested in using The Blended Course Design Workbook: A Practical Guide in programming for their faculty.

Thanks to the over 50 people who signed up to learn more about the book!

In case you missed it, a play-back of the webinar is available on the book's website.
November Conferences
This month, I'm excited to co-facilitate a pre-conference workshop at the POD Conference in Loiusvillle on Designing Blended Courses and Educational Development: Research, Strategies, and Resources. Stylus will be at the conference and my book should be there as well! If you are attending POD, make sure to say hello!

I'll also be attending the OLC Accelerate Conference in Orlando where I'll be presenting on research literacy and podcasting in higher education (if you don't know I have a research podcast and a more general higher education podcast). If you are attending OLC Accelerate, come find me!
Pre-order Consults Email
In October, I continued to reach out to everyone who pre-ordered a copy of The Blended Course Design Workbook to let them know that each pre-order comes with a free 30-minute consult with me. I'll be scheduling these over the next several months now that the book is officially out!

If you pre-ordered and haven't heard from me yet, look for an email soon. If you have already heard from me, look for an email about scheduling information.
Thanks again!
I appreciate your interest in The Blended Course Design Workbook and I'll be back in touch next month with all the latest BCD Workbook-related news!

P.S. Don't forget that you can also follow me on Twitter to stay in touch!
