Among the long rolling south-facing slopes of the Stellenbosch winelands, caressed by cool coastal breezes, lies our boutique winery and vineyard. Here we produce premium, award-winning wines for the enlightened drinker.

Brand new year and a new addition to the Journey’s End family, Janine Lategan. She joins us fresh from the SA wine trade and will be managing our domestic SA market. Janine is everything we look for in an employee; energetic, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly lots of fun!

Christine Andrews, who many know as the face of Journeys End SA, is returning to the continent of Oceania where she will pick up residence in Australia. There she’ll be clocking up miles and drumming up business in Japan, China and Aus. With offices now in Europe, Africa and Oceania we’re perfectly positioned to ensure Journey’s End wine is enjoyed throughout the world.

Journey’s End social media has had a subtle revamp. We have decided on a monthly theme enabling our followers further vision and understanding on where to drink our wines. From some of the UK’s best roof terraces with views spanning over London to Michelin starred restaurants, we will be connecting with our customers throughout the land ensuring they have a chilled bottle of white ready for you. Or the fire lit and red wine decanted!

Throughout the year the Gabb family focus on making as great an impact on the local community as possible. The project that was most recently completed was the building of a school in the local village of Sir Lowry’s Pass. With a number of our team coming from the village, it’s important to ensure that their children have access to great facilities and staffing. It is worth mentioning that Suzette, a valued member of our staff, has a very talented son, Jamal, who has run his way in to the Western Province athletics team.

Jamal turns 11 years old this year and 2017 was a fantastic year for him being crowned ‘Sportsman of the year’, ‘Cross-country athlete of the year’ and ‘Best Athlete of the year’. He has been running both the 60m and 1200m races for Western Province and has endured the rocky terrain of the Kimberley chase cross country run. It is worth noting that Jamal runs all of these races in bare feet! A remarkable display of toughness and talent. He races against many boys 3 or 4 years his senior! We are hugely proud of Jamal and cannot wait to watch him develop into an incredible athlete and runner. Bring it on 2018!

Its competition time. Like Red Bull, we like people getting awesome and what’s even better news is we will reward you for it.

All we need is some pictures of your lovely selves drinking JE wine in some special/fun/exciting places. We will then pile all the entries together and pull names from a hat. The winners will receive a case of our top red wine, The Cape Doctor Cabernet Sauvignon. In this case, a bottle a day keeps the doctor at bay!
