Dear <<First Name>>,
Thank you for joining me on November 30th
for my presentation at Ashley Hall. It was such a pleasure to join your community for the evening to share my hope for the future of our ocean. If you weren’t able to make it to the event, I hope you will visit our website
to learn more about the vital work we are doing around the globe.
My visit to Ashley Hall was filled with extraordinary interactions with girls from every grade. They asked intriguing questions, presented impressive and unique projects, and gave me hope that they are the future stewards of our ocean planet. I was so impressed with the girls, the science teachers and the campus at Ashley Hall. It is really a special place.
I hope that you are inspired to take a deeper dive into the work of the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center. Our programs include beach cleanups, 3D coral printing and coral resilience, and our Sea Turtle Restoration and Women’s Empowerment Program, that has benefitted from the critical funds raised by the School to “adopt” sea turtle nests in Nicaragua. This year, that program, which provides jobs and opportunities for local women, has a record number of nesting sea turtles that desperately need our help! If left in place, hundreds of sea turtle eggs may be taken (poached) to be sold. The women in the program relocate and monitor the nests, helping the hatchlings survive and get back to the ocean. The “FCOLC” is working hard to make an impact both here in the USA and abroad and we want to invite you to become an Ocean Protector too! We are dedicated to our mission to protect and preserve our ocean as we know it has a direct, fundamental impact on our health, our security, and our economy. Saving the ocean is our top priority and exploring it will bring us even more knowledge about saving humanity. By becoming an Ocean Protector, you can help redefine the way we go about marine conservation and research, deep-sea exploration, and ocean education.
