It’s almost time—time for all of us to take action for our ocean!
September 17th is International Coastal Cleanup Day around the globe!

For more than 35 years, millions of volunteers have participated in the International Coastal Cleanup.  Trash and debris along our waterways is collected, categorized and counted!

This year is no different at the FCOLC. We will be co-hosting a cleanup up along the shores of Long Island in two locations on the barrier island of Long Beach.  We invite those who area local to join us!
Volunteers will also enjoy discounts at local merchants and establishments in and around Long Beach and we will celebrate the day with an After Cleanup Party at Brixx & Barley in Long Beach.

This event brings about a global awareness of the importance of keeping our ocean healthy… Enjoy the video of the Long Beach Middle School students who are members of Stewards of the Sea to see how they did their part last year,  and used the recycled trash to create an Ocean Art Sculpture  out of the debris collected!
Happy ICC Day!
