Although this did not take place in May I wanted to get the word out while it was fresh.  Congratulations to Chaplains Ruben Saldana, Anthony Kelly and John Todd.  Chaplains Todd and Kelly graduated from the Army Chaplain Captain Career Course/Hybrid. Not pictured is Chaplain Ruben Saldana who graduated from the Chaplain Captain Career Course/Resident.
Pictured below is Chaplains Todd and Kelly with Chaplain Brandon Moore, who is on staff at the Army Chaplains School and was also their small group leader. Chaplain Todd was the distinguished honor graduate with 99.57 GPA and was awarded the Chaplain Francis P. Duffy award for excellence.
The Christian Churches and Churches of Christ are truly blessed with many talented members.  It is great to be able to highlight three of them.
We also obtained a picture of Chaplain Moore preaching to over 3000 at the Fort Jackson Easter Sunrise service.
Cindy and I had a chance to visit a couple of churches in the DC area in May. On the 8th we visited Gethsemane Church of Christ in Mechanicsville, VA.  Bill Wines, senior minister, pictured above was very gracious.
Commissioner Ken Meade, retired as Senior Minister at Manor Woods and is still very active in the life of the church as well as the Chaplaincy Endorsement Commission.
On the 22nd we visited Manor Woods Church of Christ , Rockville, MD.  Dyke McCord is the senior Minister. We had a great morning worshiping with them.
June's big event will be the Association of Professional Chaplains Conference in Orlando Florida.  Cindy and I fell blessed to serve the pastors in this ministry.

Grace and peace,
