The headline for August was our visit to New Life Christian Church in Wildwood, Florida next to the Villages, FL. Kal's brother and sister in-law, Skip and Pat McAlexander allowed us to stay with them during that visit.

Skip and Pat McAlexander hosted a get acquainted brunch with Senior Pastor, Matt Malott and wife Connie, Associate Pastor, Hugh Wicks and yes, wife Connie and Elder Paul Rabenold and his wife Leda.
We were able to set up the display and answer questions during two worship services on Sunday. It was a great visit and we are very grateful for all the hospitality we were shown. .
One of the ideas discussed at the annual Commissioners meeting was designated offering envelops. Cindy designed one and we ordered a first run. Some have talked about the Veterans Day Offering for the Commission. If you would like to have some for a trial run, please let us know. We would be glad to mail you some.
We are a little behind getting this Newsletter out. September was a very busy month, but we will save the details for the September Newsletter.
