I relieved John Craycraft officially on 1 January, 2016. The first quarter has been a flurry of activity that has involved taking responsibility as the Executive Director, buying a house, moving cross country into that house, attending Endorsing Agent Conferences, visiting chaplains, visiting churches, visiting colleges and seminaries.
Before we go any further, I wanted to stop and thank some special people...
John and Glenda Craycraft
First I want to thank John Craycraft for the nine years of service as the Executive Director. John made the turnover go extremely smooth, he leaves a an inspiring legacy. We had the pleasure of honoring John and Glenda at the last NACC.
I also wanted to thank Wayne Shaw who served 15 years as the President of the Endorsement Commission. He remains a commissioner, and we also had the opportunity to honor him at the last NACC. Tom Ellsworth now serves as our Commission's President.
And lastly, Harv Ayers, designed our first display used by our Directors over 20 years ago and has been our one and only webmaster since the year 2000. Cindy and I went to Culpepper Christian Church where he is currently preaching to honor him during a worship service for his service to the Endorsement Commission. He also retired from service to the commission this year.
Cindy and I are excited about the future. We are currently on a trip that will take us to visit Cincinnati Christian University, Lincoln Christian University, Manhattan Christian College and Mid Atlantic Christian University. We will also visit churches, chaplains and chaplain candidates along the way. John wanted to continue some visits in the Lexington Area. He will visit Johnson Bible College, Emmanuel Christian Seminary and Kentucky Christian College.
Our web-page has been updated and is now live at cec-chap.org., check it out. Group Imaging out of Mesa, Arizona has graciously donated a new display for us. For more information about Group Imaging go to http://www.groupimaging.com/. They provide a variety of services.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the
North American Christian Convention
July 11th - 16th in Anaheim, CA.
Look for our booth! Grace and Peace,
