Chaplain of the Year Military Chaplain's Association Distinguished Service Award for the Air Force
John M. Richardson--he just received notification that he is the 2016 recipient of the Military Chaplain's Association Distinguished Service Award for the Air Force. This award recognizes exceptional ministry professionalism, expertise in an environment of diverse individuals, resiliency, and effectiveness in addressing the spiritual and/or moral needs and issues of our men and women facing the demands of life and duty in the modern military environment. Way to go Chappy!
He and his family are currently serving in England and were unable to attend the awards ceremony. Pictures of him receiving his award at his command will be published at a later date.
