TFA Staffing Comes Full Circle
We are pleased to announce the hiring of Bilinda Pringle as our new Director of Operations.  Bilinda graduated from our program in March of 2016 and then spent two years working as an assistant bakery manager at Mariano's in Northfield.  Bilinda's experience, passion, and dedication to our mission make her an invaluable addition to our team as we grow our organization.  Please join us in welcoming Bilinda to The Floured Apron!

Hello. My name is Bilinda Pringle.  When I graduated from The Floured Apron I knew that I wanted to continue to be a part of the organization in some way.  I volunteered as a Program Assistant and sat on the Board of Directors.  I hope to bring my experience in customer service as well as everything I learned working in the culinary field to my new position.  I'm truly honored to have been selected for this position.  I look forward to continuing to work with this incredible organization.

Our Graduates Work Locally
The next time you decide to treat yourself to a fabulous dinner from Mirani's At Home, consider that one of our graduates may have had a hand in the preparation.  We are thrilled by this placement and have enjoyed hearing owner Madeleine Mirani share her story with our students as part of our Speaker Series.
Sponsor Spotlight
This is why baking is not for wimps - 50 lb bags of artisan flour!  We are so grateful to King Arthur Flour for their generous support of our program.  Did you know that King Arthur allows the lowest variance of protein in their flour? This means a more consistent baking performance. It's never bleached and never bromated.   If you think our cakes are baking up tastier, it just might be this new ingredient.  Please consider supporting King Arthur the next time you are doing your own shopping.
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our board of directors.  If you have experience in fundraising, law, or social work and would like to lend your skills to the dynamic and enthusiastic group who supports the important work we do, please contact our Board President,
Jeanne Ebersole.
Mother's Day Orders a Success!

Thank you to those of you who honored Mom with a gift box from The Floured Apron.  From California to Florida - we heard rave reviews from the recipients.  Our goodies stretched across the US bringing sweet messages from as far away as Switzerland!
