Colorado employers may use up to $3.02 per hour in tip income to offset the minimum wage of employees who regularly receive tips. As a result, the minimum wage direct cash wage for tipped employees is currently $8.08 per hour as of January 1, 2019, and will increase as follows:
$8.98 on January 1, 2020.
Starting on January 1, 2021, and on every January 1 thereafter, the minimum direct cash wage will be adjusted for inflation, as described above.
