training success and more!

The big news of the month is that the Centauride ride schedule has shifted to Plan A.  Originally, we had planned on departing on January 1.  Then, we had moved up the start date to October 1.  Now we're back to Plan A (or would that make it C?) of a January 1 start.  New year, new beginning!  Symbolism aside, it also makes sense to help with getting off to the best start possible, with less weather risk in case there are delays heading up the coast.

Great news from the four-legged member of the Centauride team - Apollo's training is progressing wonderfully!  We've been doing more advanced arena work, longer rides, and last week we rode on a new trail where he bravely stood his ground when a deer suddenly crashed through the nearby understory.
