And we are Launched!
Since September we have held launch events at the Ethics and Politics of Community Engagement Conference in Oxford, UK; the Global Health Bioethics Network's Summer School in Kilifi, Kenya; and the Gates Global Challenges Conference in London.

Mesh is now officially ready for the wider world and we look forward to sharing and developing it with you. Below is a new webinar to help you spread the word.
New Resources on Mesh
There have been some exciting additions to Mesh this month including two new project reflections co-produced by Mesh. One from Cambodia on the initiative Village Drama against Malaria and one from Botswana about art, science and education project Genome Adventures.

Take a look and see how these projects have engaged their communities and what challenges and successes they have met along the way.

News in Community Engagement

New Journal For Community Engagement
Routledge has recently published the first of its Global Health Communication journal. Although focused on "communication" articles in the first issue include examples of high level community engagement work so it will certainly be of interest to the Mesh community.
Next on Mesh

Coming soon we have the launch of our brand new funding page to show you where to go to find funding for your Community Engagement activity; new resources on Qualitative Research as part of Global Health Trial's Qualitative Research Month in November and a new theme on Genomics - so stay tuned.

If you have examples of funding schemes that fund community engagement or useful resources for those engaging communities with genomics please get in touch to help us grow these resources.

Look out next month for our evaluation forms, we want to hear from you on what is working and what is not.
Don't forget to share Mesh with colleagues, add resources, start discussions and let us know if you have questions or feedback.
