The Dragon Group (TDG) provided LEED Construction Support Services for the New Southeast Library Branch located 1463 Pryor Road. This new library branch is 15,200 sq. ft. and serves city residents south and east of the I-20 and connector intersection. TDG led the LEED documentation process for the construction credits to ensure LEED Silver certification submission for this state of the art building with reading nooks, a computer lab, and energy efficiency lighting. Some other LEED features include 37% reduction in water consumption, 30% reduction in energy consumption and diverted more than 250 tons of construction debris from hitting the landfill. CD Moody Construction served as the general contractor and our client for the project.
