This month ecoo attended the John Butler Trio Frack Off concert in the beautiful Margaret River region. This event was brought about to raise awareness of the threat Western Australia and in particular the South West region face from fracking. Fracking is the process of injecting a mixture of water and chemicals at high pressure deep into the ground to release natural gas and oil. This process has been taking place all over the world and is currently already happening in our North West. The impact this has been having on the surrounding environment has been terrible, water sources are being contaminated and farmers are being pushed off their land.

Our many thanks to the John Butler Trio and all the volunteers who are working so hard to bring awareness to this issue!!

SUPPLIER SPOTLIGHT: MILTON ASHBY
Milton Ashby is an Australian owned and operated business producing beautiful handmade wooden rattles, teethers and toys right here in Australia. The owner and craftsman Shannon was originally an automotive engineer, this shows in the quality of the workmanship which is hard to match.
The wood used is all sustainably sourced and he uses all non toxic coatings, being that they are handmade with wood no two pieces are the same. They also come packaged in beautifully presented tin boxes, making them a perfect gift!
Bamboo may not be the first thing you think of when you think about getting between the sheets, but if you and bamboo have never hooked up in the bedroom then you seriously need to read futher here.
HELP SAVE THE CARNABY'S BLACK-COCKATOO
The Carnaby's Black-Cockatoo West Australian population has halved over the last 6 years alone! You can help protect this beautiful creature from going extinct by signing this partition to Premier Colin Barnett, to help save what little natural habitat it has left. As always it takes many single acts of kindness together to make a change, your signature does matter!
