Well it has been a rather chaotic month, we have now opened our store in Dunsborough which is surrounded by other awesome businesses and people who are environmentally and health conscious. It has been a bit of a logistical challenge to get every up and running but well worth it!

Our Scarborough store was originally going to stay open until Christmas however as we know the best-laid plans can go awry, we will now be closing Scarborough on Tuesday the 18th of October. Thank you so much to all our loyal customers who we have had the pleasure of getting to know, you have allowed us to progress the business and hopefully continue on in to the future. Be sure to come in and grab any Christmas presents you had your eye on before we close, otherwise we will still be selling online at ;)

More durable than glass straws, don't conduct heat like steel straws and biodegradable unlike plastic straws, these little guys are awesome! Did you know that MacDonalds alone throw away an estimated 60 million plastic straws worldwide per day?!

You can create awareness of this fact by carrying one in your bag for those times you might be out and want to grab a juice, imagine the talking point with people, everyone will want one! They come packaged as a set of 8 in a calico bag, great for picnics!

Boody is an Australian company that was started in Sydney by two friends with backgrounds in fashion and pharmacy, they have created underwear that is super comfortable and environmentally friendly. There are no nasty seams hacking into your skin and they are so comfortable you forget your wearing anything!

They use organically grown bamboo and turn it into a viscose by soaking it in a solution that is used in a closed loop system, meaning the solution gets recycled. Our range of Boody underwear is one of our biggest sellers, the men absolutely love the bamboo work boot socks! You can find our range of bamboo underwear here.

You may have heard a bit about fracking lately, it is a much debated issue here in Western Australia at the moment. So what is fracking? It is when a drill goes down into the earth and water, sand and or chemicals are directed at the rock to release the gas inside. This process is currently happening on the Eastern states of Australia, allegedly causing many environmental problems. The other issue is that under West Australian law, landowners can't prevent gas fracking from happening on their land. As the gas lies so far under the land on private property it is classed as government owned. For more information and to learn how you can get involved see the Frack Free WA website here.
